8007000e error when deploying Analysis Services 2005 project
I had some kind of machine specific project corruption, possibly to do with SourceSafe. Before troubleshooting your project, try deploying from another workstation - this worked for me.

I've just encountered this error too but didn't have the option of using another machine. I believe it's a memory resource issue on the machine.
To get around it I built the solution in Visual Studio then closed down all the applications I could and deployed the .asdatabase file using the Deployment Wizard under Start Menu->All Programs->Microsoft SQL Server 2005->Analysis Services

Nicely done. Usually 8007000e means "out of memory" but in my case I had memory up the kazoo.
Maybe it wasn't available to SSAS for some reason...anyway I never got round to monitoring or profiling after finding my workaround.
